水鐘為利用水流來表現時間的進行，是科學與藝術整合利用的高科技產品。它的構造是由一 長串不同形狀、大小及功用的玻璃管，層層疊架所組成，利用管內的液體流動推動鐘擺，並 藉由虹吸原理循環運作來計算時間。由於液體流動速率會因黏度、水位高低、溫度而變化，因此必須以自動控制程序定時修正調整流動速率，精確控制水流速度，推動鐘擺穩定擺盪， 進而達到計算時間的目的。
Time-flow Clock
This clock uses flow to keep track of time.It combines science and art, as well as technology.The time-flow clock consists of a long series of glass pipes of different shapes,sizes and functions. The flow of liquid through the pipes drives the pendulum. Time is calculated by siphon filling 3nd emptying. Liquid flow speed usually depends on viscosity,water level and temperature changes. Therefore,an auto-controlled process is used to set the time,and to correct and adjust flow speed.resulting in steady pendulum oscillation and accurate time display.
